It is here again!

What is the event about?

The biggest event in Abuja to celebrate outstanding young leaders in public service and private sector (CEOs); the 3^rd edition of the yearly Abuja Business Excellence Awards has been designed to be bigger and better than the previous sequels of 2019 and 2020. It seeks to promote young leaders and magnify their achievements for the public to know them more thereby raising the bar of accountability. To laud those who are making giant strides in both public service and private sector within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as a way to redirect the aspiration of young people to great possibilities. Our vision is to make excellence a norm whether for young people in public service or those in the private sector.

How to participate?

It is open for public participation in two ways:

1.                 Nominate a CEO of a private enterprise or head of any public Ministry Department Agency who will be screened by the organizers, if the person meets all the prerequisite conditions and is qualified will now be placed in one of the 27 categories so he/she can be voted in the topmost position in that category. The nominee with the highest votes in a category will be declared the winner and hosted for the award ceremony by the organizers in Abuja.

2.                 Participants who nominate and vote candidates will stand a chance to win prizes like mobile phones, Android tablets and internet modem. Any of such participant who votes candidates in ten (10) categories consecutively and all emerge winners will win the grand prize of mobile phone, internet modem and recharge card.

All nominations and votes can be done using various channels such as SMS, Email or Facebook by sending the “nominee full names”, “official title”, “name of organization”, “your name and email address”. The organizers say there are mainly 14 categories in the private sector and 13 categories in the public sector.

Who can participate?

The nominees and candidates must reside in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but their nominations and votes can be from anyone within the Federal Republic of Nigeria with a target reach of 20 million people across the major cities..

When will it start?

The event kicked off officially on the 1^st August, 2021 when nominations and votes are expected to come in till the 21^st of October 2021. The nominations and votes will be compiled after which all the candidates will be hosted at the award presentation ceremony where the winners in various categories will be presented with their awards by some top government officials. The date and venue for the event will be published in national dailies.

Who is sponsoring the event?

So far, the past editions were mainly sponsored by Dapines Global Investors Ltd, the major promoters and managers of the event. However, the event is opened for corporate sponsorship to companies, government and organizations seeking to leverage on the target reach of 20 million people who will participate in the event.
